On this trip we encounter some magnificent Scottish scenery including the ‘Meikleour Hedge’ noted in the

“Guiness Book of Records’ as the tallest hedge in the world.  

Reaching one hundred feet tall and a third of a mile long, this hedge is trimmed once every ten years to ensure it grows to the heavens.

In memory of the men who planted it and who died at the ‘Battle of Culloden Moor’.

We also visit the finest castle in Scotland, Glamis Castle, winner of the best attraction award 2015.

This castle has been the home of the Lyon family since the 14th century, the

Earl and Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorn.

It was also the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother).

We also visit perhaps the most famous landmark of them all, Balmoral Castle.
