“James helped us capture the flavor of Scotland brilliantly on three different area tours. The first day he helped us battle jet lag with an overview of Edinburgh’s neighborhoods. It oriented us nicely to follow up on foot the next day. His enthusiasm is infectious about this strikingly beautiful city. We enjoyed a lovely day to the borders area and Hadrian’s Wall. We stopped at the impressive Rosslyn Chapel. He found a picnic spot to enjoy the perfect weather. Our last tour included Linlithgow Palace, Stirling Palace and a very enjoyable tour of St. Andrews. Lunch overlooking the 18th green was spectacular”.

“The magical highland tour on the grey line Scotland is a very scenic drive through the northern part of Scotland, we had a great guide called Barbara who told us a lot of history of the place and lovely stories from the shooting of the movie Harry Potter , through out the 13 hour journey of the day long trip of the highland s we were throughly entertained by her powerful story telling skills , It really helped to the trip worth while”!!!

“My wife, her parents, and two daughters (8 and 6 yrs old) took a day tour with James from Edinburgh up to Iverness, Loch Ness, and Glencoe. It was an amazing trip and highly recommend James and the Highland Tour Company.
James was professional and very knowledgable of Scotland and the Highlands. He took helped us arrange lunch reservations at a delicious restaurant in Iverness, then helped us book our boat tour at Lochness, and then finally took us through a scenic tour of the countryside.
James was very flexible throughout the entire day, customizing the day to our interests, energy level, and attention span of our children. We even had a stop off at a McDonalds for the kids (ok, maybe for me as well). The van was immaculate, pickup and dropoff were great and convenient”.
